Bassett~Young

Elizabeth Bassett and Eric Young are engaged to be married Nov. 28, 2009.

Parents of the couple are Nila and Dick Bassett of Bagley, Minnesota. Michelle and Douglas Young of Menasha, Wisc.

Grandparents are Ila Olson and the late Daral Olson of Bemidji, Minn. Betty Bassett and the late Ross Bassett of Lakeville, Minn. Ellen and Garland Haselhuhn of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of West Liberty. The late Donald and Versel Young, Jamestown, NY.

Elizabeth is a 2005 graduate of Bagley High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Minnesota, School of Nursing where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed by The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Eric is a 2004 graduate of Menasha High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Biological Sciences where he received his Bachelor of Science in Genetics, Cell biology and Development. Eric manages the University of Minnesota Zebrafish Core Facility and studies Hurler’s Disease as a Junior Scientist.

The couple will be making their home in Houston, Texas.
