By The Index · Tuesday, September 18, 2012
Homecoming activities are underway at West Liberty High School, which will host Columbus Junction in the big football game at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

There will be many activities prior to the football game, however.

The homecoming parade will begin at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the high school parking lot. The parade will travel down Maxson Aveue, take a right on Calhoun Street, then a right on West Seventh Street on to Elm Street.

Following the parade, there will be a pep rally, coronation of the king and queen and the power-puff football game. In case of bad weather, the game and other activities will be moved to the high school gym.

Anyone who wants to participate in the parade should contact Dee Ann Paterson, the student council advisor at the high school. Her email address is dpatterson@wl.k12.ia.us.
