I support Obama|
I support Barack Obama. I support him because of his experience as an Illinois state senator and as a U.S senator. Another reason I support Obama is that he wants to get more Americans insured with healthcare. I donít support Mitt Romney because he wants to take unionsí retirement funds and help the social security system with that money.
Obama has better experience than Romney. He was an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004. He also was a U.S senator from 2005 to 2008 which adds good experience in politics. Obama is the 44th president so if he is reelected he will know his job much better than Romney would. Obama went to Harvard which is well known to have excellent politicians and many other types of people came from. He also has a bachelorís degree in political science which also helps him perform his job better.
Obama approves of same sex marriage which means he is an accepting man. On the matter of education Obama had the No Child Left Behind law slightly relaxed to give schools more leeway. Obama had Obamacare passed in March 2010 which helps get more Americans insured with healthcare; this is good because he is still working on getting more Americans insured. Obama is also pro-union this is good because my dad works on the railroad which has a union.
Romney first ran for president in 2008 and lost. If elected plans to take the union workers retirement fund and bail out the Social Security System, this is a terrible notion. Union workers have to work hard for their retirement so it should not be snatched away. Romney disagrees with same sex marriage. Romney doesnít have as much experience as Obama does.
Obama was a U.S senator from 2005 to 2008. He passed the Affordable Health Care Act which is Obamacare. He went to Harvard Law School. He relaxed the No Child Left Behind law to give the schools more leeway. All of these things are important so support and vote for Barack Obama.
