Gracie Danner, a 14-year-old eighth grader at West Liberty Middle School, loves cows and has plans to take over a farm someday. Her venture will be showing her cow, Dolly, at the 39th annual North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) in Louisville, Ky. According to its website, NAILE is the world’s largest purebred livestock show. According to Gracie’s dad, Billie Danner, this is one of three major national shows.
“This show is like the Indy 500 for car races,” Billie said. “The one in Denver in January is kind of like the Superbowl of cattle showing.”
