I can see clearly now

Needing eye glasses is not always the entire answer when a person cannot read well, or has problems with reading. I was one of those people.

Growing up in grade school and high school, I not only hated to read, but struggled when I did read. I struggled with comprehension and placement of the words on the page. I remember many nights struggling with homework where I would use two index cards, holding one below the line of words and one above the line of words, which made it easier to read.

It was not until I was married and my husband made me get my eyes checked because I kept miss- reading billboards and signs. The result was that I needed prisms only with no prescription for vision.
