Theyíre tired, tired of playing the game.

We donít know who won; check out page one for the results. This page was already sitting on the press when they came in. What we do know is itís time for a nap. If you think youíre sick of this election think of the poor candidates. The few who were competent or crafty enough to make it past the primaries have been sprinting for about a week now. Itís only a matter of time before the crash comes. Like a momma grizzly returning to her cave for the winter, Wednesday, win or lose, the candidates will curl up in their hollows, catch up on zís and rest the red out of their eyes.

To the half who won, congratulations. Enjoy the respite.

To the half who lost, congratulations. It might not seem like it now, but youíre the lucky ones.

Happy Dodransbicentennial everybody!

Well almost. January marks 175 years since the inception of West Liberty.

Itís going to be a big year. An all-school reunion, monthly celebrations and a beard growing contest are only a small part of the festivities to come. Itís going to be a good year too. Check out the upcoming events on page 3.
