A team of four West Liberty High School seniors will compete in an annual Junior Achievement (JA) Titan competition on Nov. 14 in Davenport.
Economic students Carrie Heick, Nathaniel Williams, Jessenia Gallegos and Ashley Gomez were chosen out of a group of seniors to participate in a computerized competition, JA Titan, which allows students to apply business concepts while competing online against other students who are all building virtual companies.
The JA Titan competition is one of many programs run by Junior Achievement of the Heartland, a non-profit organization that educates more than 55,000 students in communities around Iowa, according to its website.
