New program to help West Liberty non-profits by By the Index · December 06, 2012
The Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine has created a new program that will help Muscatine County non-profit groups.
Jumpstart is a matching grant program to assist non-profits in establishing permanent endowments to ensure the future of their organizations and continuation of programs and services.
The program is open to all non-profit organizations and qualified educational and religious institutions serving Muscatine County residents that do not have a current organization endowment. Grants in the amount of $2,500 or $5,000 will be awarded through a competitive application process. Selected recipient organizations must raise endowment contributions amounting to three times the award.
