Heritage foundation launches website

West Liberty history buffs, locals and visitors can now access an informational website to learn about West Liberty and upcoming events. The West Liberty Heritage Foundation launched its first website last week full of pictures and information. The homepage features a slideshow of the train depot, Oak Ridge Cemetery, caboose and one-room school house.

Pam Schnittjer, one of the foundation’s members, said they plan to add even more pictures once the snow melts. She said the foundation hopes to use the website to feature historical objects on the depot campus and also as a tool for people to learn about upcoming events.
