As thousands of rounds of ammunition exploded inside the West Liberty Gun Club, volunteer firefighters from West Liberty, West Branch and Atalissa worked to calm a raging fire that destroyed the indoor firing range at the facility.
“Everything is still under investigation,” said West liberty Fire Chief Robbie Rock, “but it’s a total loss.
“The rough estimate is about $200,000 (worth of damage).”
