Few of us had the work ethic or dedication required to become a member of the National Honor Society in high school. Beside the required excellent GPA, students are required to prove their mettle by maintaining an outstanding character, regular volunteer activities and showing leadership. Many of the students honored during a ceremony at the high school on Monday night will be our future doctors, lawyers, politicians and more.

It’s refreshing to see such a large group of students inducted this year, and like years past, it shows how willing West Liberty families are to prioritize their children’s personal and professional growth.

These students are a testament to the outstanding character our community imbues into all of the children regardless of race, religion or economic status.
