Andy Eckrich was able to catch race leader Rob Moss on lap 16 of the iWireless IMCA late Model feature on Saturday night, May 24, and make the pass to cruise on in to an impressive win.
Nick Marolf worked the top side of the smooth half-mile West Liberty Raceway to perfection on Saturday night and was able to get by Moss for second late in the 25 lap race. Moss held on for third at the checkers.
Larry Herring took advantage of a late race caution in the 20 lap Performance Concepts IMCA Modified main event and emerged from a pack of cars to race to the checkers first ahead of Cayden Carter and Steve Stewart.
David Brandies continues to be the dominant driver in the Kile Motorsports IMCA Stock Car division. Brandies scored another feature win on Saturday night crossing the stripe ahead of Brandon Jay and Dave Hemsted.
First time visitor to the West Liberty Raceway, Curt Vanderwal, took the win in the growing Weikert Iron & Metal IMCA Sportmod class. Vanderwal advanced from deep in the field to take the win ahead of Tony Olson.
Jordan Walker scored his second win of the season in the US 6 Bodyworks IMCA Sport Compact class on Saturday night. Walker beat Cory Sheetz to the checkers.
Racing will continue at the West Liberty Raceway on Saturday, May 31, with the first green flag of the evening waving at 7 p.m.
