After a huge turnout and a very successful event in Knoxville, West Liberty is the next stop for Midwest Event Promotions. Nov. 1-3, at the Muscatine County Fairgrounds in West Liberty, is West Liberty’s only gun show for 2024.
James Chapline, owner of Midwest Event Promotions, says they chose West Liberty for many reasons.
“Although we are still newcomers in the gun show business, we’re dedicated to making a name for ourselves by focusing on our core values: family, community, law enforcement/first responders, and giving back. We chose West Liberty for several reasons: the community shares our values, we feel we can develop strong connections within the local community, and we’re committed to giving back by donating a portion of our proceeds to local nonprofits.”
The public event will feature handguns, long guns, crossbows, knives, accessories and more.
Ben Boswell, vendor and co-promoter says, that as they move forward, they want to give back to the communities.
“As a vendor and now as a promoter, I have found I need to look at the whole picture. I wanted to find areas where there hasn’t been a show before or hasn’t hosted a show in a long time. I’d like to bring new customers, new vendors, and new ideas to a community. As we move forward with promotions, we want to give back to the communities that support us.”
Admission is just $8 for the entire weekend, as long as the customer keeps their original wristband on. Veterans and first responders with ID will receive a discount price.
Background checks will be done onsite. To learn more about this gun show, go to midwesteventpromotions.com.
