The West Liberty Community Food Pantry distributes food to local families and individuals in need in the communities of the West Liberty Community School District every Thursday from 6-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at First Church United in West Liberty.

The City of West Liberty Parks & Recreation Department will host its annual Trick-or-Treat Trail event on the Heritage Trail adjacent to Elm Street on the west side of the city between the historic depot Museum and the West Liberty High School. Costumed characters are asked to line up on the trail at the south high school entrance before 5 p.m. The event takes place until 6 p.m. and ends with free pizza at the Depot in Railroad Park.
